Neu: Motmot trifft Mano Design

Einen Tag im Garten bei Mano Design in der Grundsteingasse in Wien: Die Motmots waren fleißig und haben an den neuen Frühstück-Sets und Espressotassen gearbeitet. Wir haben uns für die Yuckies entschieden. Auf speziellen Folien wurden diese siebgedruckt, anschließlich mit einer Schere zerschnitten und kurz ins Wasser gelegt. Die bedruckte Folie löst sich so von ihrem Trägermaterial und kann anschließlich auf die Tassen und Teller geklebt werden, die Hedwig von Mano Design mit viel Liebe vorbereitet hat. Die Tassen und Teller werden anschließend im Keramikofen gebrannt. Heute konnten wir die Lieferung entgegennehmen. Fast wie Weihnachten … Demnächst werde ich die neuen Tassen fotografieren und online stellen.

Walking Chair Vienna Guide

Der soeben frischgedruckte Wien Rundgang gibt Einblick in kulturelle Einrichtungen, spannende Läden abseits der großen Einkaufsstraßen und läßt Platz für persönliche Beobachtungen wie der blaue Baum im 2. Bezirk oder ein original Banksy auf der Marxergasse. Es freut uns sehr, dass auch Motmot mit dabei ist! Erhältlich im ausgewählten Buchhandel für 3,50 eur.

The freshly printed Vienna guide shows that things have changed and gives a good overview of cultural institutions, nice shops off the beaten path and leaves room for personal observations as the blue tree in the second district and the original Banksy on Marxergasse. Blockparty + Wundertüten

Kommenden Freitag findet von 17 – 21 Uhr die Blockparty in der Kirchengasse statt. Motmot überrascht mit Wundertüten und macht bei der Gelegenheit einen Sale: Vorgedruckte T-Shirts um nur € 25,-! Motmot @ DMY SHOP Berlin

Das DMY – International Design Festival Berlin findet ab 2010 an einem neuen Ort statt: Die Eingangshalle und die großzügigen Hangars des ehemaligen Flughafens Berlin Tempelhof bilden vom 9. – 13. Juni den zentralen Ort des Festivals. Zum ersten Mal wird Motmot siebgedruckte Poster und Funstuff, wie etwa den Motmot Becher im DMY SHOP ausstellen. Kommt und feiert mit uns die Eröffnung (9.6., 20 Uhr).

Starting this year, the DMY International Design Festival will take place at a brand new, and historical venue: The entrance hall and the huge hangars of Berlin’s abandoned Tempelhof airport will be the central location of this year’s DMY festival (June 9-13). There you will also find the temporary DMY SHOP where Motmot will be displaying screenprinted posters and other funstuff. Join us at the opening party June 9 at 8 p.m.

New: Motmot Bicycle T-Shirt

Das Motmot Bicycle Motiv gab es bisher immer als siebgedruckten Poster. Jetzt ist das Motiv auch als T-Shirt erhältlich. Am 10. und 11. April wurde das T-Shirt am Bike Festival am Rathausplatz zum ersten Mal vorgestellt. Jetzt ist es auch online erhältlich.

So far the Motmot Bicycle motif was only available as screenprinted poster. Now you can get the motif as t-shirt too. At the Bike Festival at Rathausplatz on April 10 and 11 we presented it the first time. Now you can get it online too.

Jetzt ist es endlich wieder soweit: Am Samstag und Sonntag, den 10. und 11. April findet von 9:00 bis 18:00 das jährliche Argus Bike Festival am Rathausplatz in Wien statt. Wer rechtzeitig kommt, kann am Falter-Fahrrad-Flohmarkt gute und günstige Räder finden. Neben Hochrad-Shows und historischen Räder, können die Besucher im Rahmen des Vienna Air King Wettbewerb waghalsigen Sprüngen auf Mountainbikes zusehen. Das Motmobil ist mit Motmot T-Shirts und seinen Radmotiven auch wieder vor Ort. Wir stehen neben der aufblasbarer Almhütte.

Finally its spring again and the yearly Argus Bike Festival at Rathausplatz in Vienna invites you to look at historic bikes, penny-farthing and watch the amazing jumps during the Vienna Air King competition. If you come early you might find good and cheap bikes at the Falter-Bike-Fleemarket. Motmot is there with its Motmobil and new t-shirts with bike motifs. We are located next to the inflatable chalet.
