Marathon in Graz am 11.10.2009. Ein Pferd, erschöpft und in Schweiß gebadet, schnaubt „slow down“. Der Aufruf, einen Schritt langsamer zu gehen, stammt von der bildenden Künstlerin Ingeborg Strobl. Die Plakatfläche richtet sich an alle Teilnehmer und Begeisterten des Marathons, kann aber auch auf das alltäglich Leben jeder gehetzten Person übertragen werden. Das Pferdefoto wurde im Sommer 2009 in Georgien aufgenommen nachdem ein paar Jugendliche das Pferd fast bis zur völligen Erschöpfung geritten hatten.
Marathon in Graz, Austria, October 11, 2009. A horse, exhausted and all sweaty, snuffles „slow down“. The call, to move a step slower, is made by the Austrian artist Ingeborg Strobl. The message targets all participants and fans of the marathon, although it can be transfered to almost everybody’s daily life. The photo of the horse was taken in Georgia in the summer 2009 after a bunch of teenagers were riding it up and down a hill until complete exhaustion.
