Yoyo Champion Gentry Stein vs. Pewdiepie.

World Yoyo Champion Gentry Stein has been killin’ it with the Pewdiepie Yoyo response videos, and Pewds himself has actually seen and responded to Gentry which make it that much better. I know that people have a mixed opinion about Pewdiepie; but he is the most widely viewed person on Youtube, and a lot of his audience is exactly the right age to pick up a yoyo. All the kids watch Pewdiepie!
I am so happy to have a person like Gentry Stein representing the yoyo community. Gentry is a super nice guy, has a great sense of humor, is a natural communicator, and of course is amazing with a yoyo. Gentry Stein has done more to promote the hobby and sport of Yoyo than anyone else, and his Youtube videos are a great introduction to yoyoing. Thousands of new people are seeing what modern yoyo is about for the first time.
It was an extreme disappointment to us when our event with Gentry Stein was cancelled in March, but I’ve had the opportunity to chat with him and the people at YoyoFactory, and we will try to arrange something at a future date, and of course, we have a full selection of his signature models at the Motmot Shop: The Shutter, the Shutter Wide Angle, Bi-Metal Shutter, Replay Pro, and the Snapshot.
