There is one trick that has taken the world by storm and that trick is called the DNA!
The DNA is a trick that defies expectations, most people know “Rock the Baby” or “Walk the Dog” but seeing the DNA in person is something amazing.
So if you’re starting out and you want to learn the DNA what yoyo should you get?
There are hundreds of different designs that are great for fingerspins and DNA’s; but we’re taking a look at yoyos that perform well, and stay in regular production.
Theoretically, one could do the DNA with almost any yoyo, but there are certain features which can make learning the DNA much easier. The feature that will help the most is a fingerspin dimple. The dimple is usually machined into the yoyo, or it is part of a cap which is attached to the yoyo.

Metal Skyva 2 by Spintek.
The Metal Skyva 2 by Spintek, as the name suggests, it’a metal version of the Skyva 2. Taking everything Jeffrey learned from the Cheatcode, and putting those lessons to use with the Metal Skyva 2. It’s is a bit wider, and also features the fingerspin centering technology, the Skyva 2 is definitely a contender for the best DNA yoyo. The Skyva 2 is also available in some very cool colors!
Iceberg 2 by iYoyo.
The Iceberg by iYoyo is an amazing all around yoyo, it’s powerful and versatile. You can use this as an every day yoyo and you can win contests with it. The Iceberg features a machined plastic body with steel rings, and plays more like a bi-metal that a plastic yoyo.
