The Leaf is the next iteration of the legendary CL flagship model, the Chief!
So what’s the difference? The Leaf is a bit wider, more stable, and has a bit more heft than the last version of the Chief.
Why the new name? The crew at Caribou Lodge felt like it was time to retire the name, due to concerns relating to the First Nations people in Canada, and indigenous peoples around the world. So they came up with something even more Canadian, the Leaf.

Make no mistake; the Leaf is the newest version of the Chief, but with a new name. Kind of like the time when the Quarry Men changed their name to the Beatles. Dig it!
