InfinityX by iYoyo, the perfect everyday yoyo!

The InfinityX by iYoyo just might be the perfect everday yoyo. It offers so many advantages and just checks so many boxes, that this is the kind of yoyo that everyone needs to have in their collection.
The InfinityX offers a really unique shape that combines the best of “V” and “Organic” shapes that give superior playability and comfort. The “V” shaped catch zone makes those tech and speed tricks easier to hit, the rounded organic outer rim gives the InfinityX a real power boost, and make the InfinityX a really comfortable yoyo. It just feels really special in the hand.
The shape reminds me of a few different yoyos, specifically the Caribou Lodge Dune, and another POM yoyo, the Yoyo Friends Dove. However, in terms of specs, the InfinityX is more inline with current yoyo trends and is a bit wider (48.5mm) than both, and features a PVC fingerspin cap that really steals the show. This fingerspin cap makes fingerspins and DNA’s super easy, stupid easy, as the kids say these days. The cap does a really excellent job of centering the yoyo on the finger and has a really long and stable fingerspin, I timed it at 1minute and 27 seconds! No matter how sloppy your UFO or Sleeping Beauty is the InfinityX will turn you into a fingerspin expert in no time.
The fingerspin cap is so good, that I am going to have to update the DNA guide I wrote a few months ago!

The InfinityX is based on the Infinity Stones from the Marvel Avengers movie series, and do not disappoint. Just a quick pro tip, the yellow capped yoyo lights up under a blacklight like the actual Mind Stone, so you might want to scoop one of these before they’re gone.

One of the things to mention about the InfinityX is the material it’s made from. (I am not an expert in plastics or chemistry, I just know the basics from testing a bunch of yoyos for years, wearing glasses my entire adult life, and basic research.)
The InfinityX is made from machined POM (acetal) plastic, which as also frequently referred to as Delrin, however Delrin is a trademark owned by DuPont. While there are some slight technical differences, the best way to understand the materials is that POM is a generic name for a family of plastics, and Delrin is a brand name. There you learned something new today!
POM is a unique material for yoyo design and offers quite a few advantages (and a few drawbacks as well!)
POM offers a higher density and weight than PVC plastics so they can offer more power and spin time. POM offers higher fatigue resistance so these yoyos will not wear down and get that “soggy” feeing that an old injected molded PVC yoyo can get. POM is also much more resistant to cracking than PVC so it is much less likely to get brittle and deteriorate like some older PVC yoyos. So that’s the reason my old YYF Severe still slays, while a lot of those old Yoyo Jam hybrids are cracking after a decade of sitting in a box.

The iYoyo InfinityX, take it with you, throw it in your backpack, play while waiting for the bus, let some random kid try it. iYoyo InfinityX is the ultimate everyday yoyo.
